Prespa National Park
In September 2008 Prespa is selected from prestigious magazines Forbes and Lonely Planet in the 20 most beautiful European destinations.
Representatives of both magazines have set Prespa among 20 selected tourist destinations.
Prespa National Park covers an area of 27 750 hectares have been set up by the Council of Ministers of 18/02/1999 number80 as a national park on February 2, 2000 after the signing of the Declaration by the three Prime Ministers of Macedonia, Albania and Greece.
Prespa National Park became part of the Prespa Park along the border with the National Park Prespa Greece and the National Park Galicica Macedonia.
